The client requested an illustration of the Pont Valentré, a historic 14th-century fortified stone arch bridge spanning the Lot River west of Cahors. This provided a perfect opportunity to showcase my illustration skills.

To bring the design to life, I incorporated a variation of high-build inks within the typography and chose a coarse paper stock that added texture and depth. The result was a premium yet authentic feel, with the etched-style illustration of the bridge as the focal point. This approach ensured the design stood out in the market, offering both sophistication and a true sense of heritage.
